MetatOGGer is a tag editor that is both powerful and simple. It supports Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, Speex, MP3, Musepack, Windows Media, WavPack and Monkey's Audio files. Its WPF vector-based interface is extremely user-friendly. Download

Tag with scripts. MetatOGGer has a unique tool that can, using IronPython scripts, modify the tags : replace characters, put the first letter in upper case, add a 0 before one digit track numbers, etc.

Manually editing tags. MetatOGGer can of course manually edit tags. Any tag can be added, even if it already exists (multiple tags) or contains line breaks.

MetatOGGer gets the lyrics automatically on the Wikia.com website.

Even if a filename or path does not have any relevant information, if you don’t know the title or the artist, you can try to tag it automatically. MetatOGGer uses MusicDNS to identify the files by their acoustic fingerprint.

Get tags from filename or path. You can get the tags from the file’s name or its path. Just tell MetatOGGer how the names or paths are built using patterns.

Rename or sort files. MetatOGGer can work not only on tags, but also on a file’s name and path. It uses patterns that determines how the path must be constructed. Files can be copied, moved or linked symbolically.

Delete tags. MetatOGGer can remove unwanted tags : all tags, common tags, uncommon tags, unknown tags, empty tags, covers, specified tag list or excluded from the list.

LyricWiki

LyricWiki shows the lyrics of the song currently playing. It synchronises with foobar2000, Winamp, WMP and musikCube. Support for other players can be added through plugins. It uses the Wikia.com online database.

Luminescence.Xiph is a .NET 3.5 assembly developped in C# 3 for reading and writing Vorbis Comment tags, contained in Ogg Vorbis, Ogg FLAC, Ogg Speex and FLAC native files. It supports image tags for FLAC files. The source of the files is available under a LGPL licence.
